Traditional to the Middle East, South and Eastern Europe and North Africa, these drums are called 'doumbek' or 'darbooka' and offer musical tones that are distinctive and delightful.  Plus they look cool!

Wheel-thrown red earthenware with stone matte glaze; each one is unique.  Medium Heatherdrums are usually 15" high and 9.5" diameter.  Finished with goatskin rawhide and waxed cotton lacing.
