It's that time again... my clay studio hibernates while I circulate. A short term residency on a Mediterranean island is just the thing, wouldn't you say? It isn't all easy going, but today is lovely and I've just had the good luck to meet a painter I admire, the living treasure Liliana Cano. See her work here and a video here.
As always, I am enjoying exploring the world through my sketchbook, and look forward to sharing favorites from those pages. Soon! Meanwhile, enjoy a few views of the Gulf of Orosei. It has an eastern horizon filled with water, just like Chicago. Except this one is enclosed by pine forest and colorful beach umbrellas. What colors!
