Going the distance already in 2015 and making the most of my time on this planet, I decided to spend January in South America. It was every bit as amazing as can be imagined, and my sketchbook was a faithful companion. Returning to Chicago just ahead of a blizzard, I have been recalibrating and resuming 'normal life.'
Observe, if you will, the changes in my online store. Many recent works and sale items have been added! I warmly welcome your questions, comments, and expressions of interest and support for my work!
This Spring, I am again running a super-fun club at Goethe School for clay; students had a great time last fall making all sorts of projects. Photos were shared on Facebook- if you haven't had a chance to follow my page why not do it now? (click here!)
Later this season I look forward to partnering with ElevArte Community Studios again for a whirlwind series of in-school residencies called "The Art of Change." This program challenges elementary schoolchildren to engage with clay as scientists, observing and utilizing the clay's changing states.
And now for more photos from my vacation... watch this space, as I document and share images from my sketchbook!
